Who We Are
The Services are provided by Bold AI Ltd., registered at 77 Richmond St W #1000, Toronto, ON M5V 3E7, Canada. "Reasoning Stack" is our service. Contact: support@reasoningstack.ai.
This policy covers https://www.reasoningstack.ai and the Reasoning Stack beta.
Data We Collect
1) Account and Google OAuth Data
If you sign up for updates or create an account, we collect your email. If you choose "Sign in with Google," we receive your Google account ID, name, email, and avatar URL. Where needed to operate sign-in, we store OAuth tokens (access and, if required, refresh tokens). We never receive your Google password.
2) Service Metadata
Server logs such as IP address, device and browser type, timestamps, and pages requested. Cookies used only for authentication, session management, and security during beta. No analytics cookies during beta.
3) Optional Communications
Email address for updates if you opt in.
When we launch paid features, we will introduce payments via Stripe. We will update this policy before collecting payment information.
How We Use Data
Authenticate you and operate the app.
Provide features you request and communicate service changes.
Secure our systems, prevent abuse, and debug issues.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use Google data for ads.
Google API Services User Data Policy
If we access Google user data, we comply with Google's API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use. See: Google API Services User Data Policy.
Use Google data only to provide user-facing features.
No selling of Google user data.
No transfer of Google user data except to service providers to operate the service or as required by law.
No human reading of Google data except with your consent, for security or compliance, or to fix an incident.
Tokens, Storage, and Security
OAuth tokens are transmitted over TLS and stored encrypted at rest.
Access is least-privilege and audited.
We do not share tokens with advertisers or data brokers.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Sharing and Service Providers
We use service providers acting as processors, limited to what they need to perform their services and bound by confidentiality:

Email delivery
Logging and error monitoring

We do not sell personal data.
International Transfers
We process data in Canada and the United States. Transfers use contractual safeguards where required.
Legal Bases (EEA/UK)
Contract: to provide the service you request.
Consent: marketing emails and Google OAuth authorization.
Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, and reliability.
You can withdraw consent at any time.
Retention
Account and OAuth data: kept while your account is active.
Server logs: up to 90 days, then deleted or aggregated.
Backups: up to 30 days, then overwritten.
We delete or anonymize data that is no longer needed or upon valid request, subject to legal holds.
Your Rights and Choices
Revoke Google access: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
Delete your data: use in-app account deletion if available, or email support@reasoningstack.ai. We will confirm and delete within 30 days.
Access or correct your data: email us from your account email address.
Unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in those emails.
Depending on your location, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your authority.
Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, or under the age of digital consent where applicable. We do not knowingly collect personal data from such children.
Changes to This Policy
We will update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be notified in-product or by email. The effective date appears at the top of this page.
